Campfire Cocktails: The Range by Bar Muse

As the September air turns crisp and each evening begins earlier than the last, there’s no better occasion to craft The Range. The first recipe in our new Campfire Cocktail series, this drink embodies both elegance and ease. The best part- it’s the same color as the golf range.

We’ve sourced the recipe from Bar Muse, a craft cocktail bar located inside the Lyric Theatre in Oxford, MS. Bar Muse innovates the cocktail game, consistently changing their menu with the seasons. Bring a part of Bar Muse to your table, gathering, or campfire with this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2oz Gin
  • 1oz Parsley-Basil Syrup
  • .75oz Lime juice

Parsley Syrup

Add 1 cup of sugar to 1 cup of hot water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Allow to cool completely. Add a bunch of parsley and basil to simple syrup and blend on high for 1 minute. Strain out solids. The syrup will last 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

Method

Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into your favorite glass. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with thyme sprigs.

Cheers!
