Jupiter, FL

Jupiter, FL

Located on the southeast coast of Florida, the town of Jupiter is a hidden gem. It’s exciting to visit and full of great views, but isn’t as busy as its neighbors, Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale. Mark this spot for your next tropical vacation and prepare to enjoy!

What to Do

Ocean time is a top priority when visiting Jupiter. Whether or not you choose to stay on the beach, visiting Juno Beach is a great option for a swim. The crystal waters are best seen at Blowing Rocks Preserve, a rugged 73-acre conservation area of rock over the beach. If you’d like to get even closer to the water, book a clear kayak tour with Get Up and Go Kayaking. The transparent bottom of the boat allows you to see ocean life right under your feet.

For the restless traveler, Jupiter also has attractions to keep busy. Take a trip to the Jupiter Lighthouse for the best view in the entire town, with panoramic views of the Jupiter inlet. When you want entertainment, visit Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium to catch one of four teams playing minor league baseball. The stadium also hosts Spring training for the Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals.

Lastly, Jupiter is the perfect destination for golf lovers. Visit Abacoa Golf Club for a championship caliber round of golf. Then, hit up the driving range and learning center located on property. Another option for golf is Jupiter Country Club, a captivating and challenging course. Jupiter has no shortage of public and private golf courses, so fit in as much time on the green as you can!

Where to Stay

The Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa is the answer to beach-front relaxation for the entirety of your trip. The resort features newly renovated rooms and deluxe amenities including a fitness center, pool and tennis courts.

Jupiter is a town of locals, and upscale hotels are limited. If you’re looking to be immersed, consider renting a residence on Airbnb or Vrbo and stay in the community. If that’s not your style, consider staying nearby in West Palm Beach!

What to Eat

In the morning, swing by Jupiter Donut Factory for a dozen fresh donuts. With a variety of flavors to choose from, it’ll be tough to narrow down your picks. Cones and Coffee is also a must for your sweet tooth and a jolt of caffeine.

For lunch, The Connection for Subs and Sandwiches is highly recommended by Jupiter locals. Drop by to pick up one of their sub specials, made with quality ingredients, and take it with you on your day’s activities. For a sit-down lunch option, try the Lighthouse Diner. This charming spot has a retro feel with great hospitality and an all-American dining experience.

To take in the ambiance of Jupiter, be sure to choose a solid dinner spot. A casual choice is Lucky Shuck. The restaurant has great views just across the Jupiter Inlet from the lighthouse, great service, and of course, oysters. On the other hand, Tiger Woods’ flagship restaurant, The Woods, is an elevated sports bar with a menu of assorted American cuisine. Like the pro golfer, this spot is in high demand, so be sure to book your table ahead of time.

What to Drink

When it’s 5 o’clock (somewhere), head to Abacoa Street for various tiki bars and great vibes. This laid back area is welcoming for a night of socialization. For a step up in entertainment, visit Guanabanas. They have a packed live music calendar with seating right on the water, perfect for taking in a relaxing sunset.

For the craft beer expert, don’t miss Civil Society Brewing. The brewery is known for its hops, which result in an easydrinking experience. Their beer is characterized as crisp and full of citrus, great for enjoying with friends. The taproom is open seven days a week, with locations in Jupiter and West Palm Beach.

Outfit Your Trip

GenTeal’s got you covered with what to pack for this trip. Pack a pair Marina Performance Swim trunks for the days you’ll spend out on the water. The Agave Printed Performance Polo is our pick for hitting the golf course or catching a baseball game, and bringing the Capetown Half-Zip Shell is never a bad idea.
